Knowledge is powerful for your business. And you certainly need to get the knowledge and associate it with the action, but are you struggling with the amount of e-book that are in your waiting list?
I’ve struggled for years ! And I’ve tried everything : reading on desktops, on laptops. Tried every Reader on earth so I can get more comfort. Heck, I even bought two Palm only to read books.
Guess what, nothing of all this will replace a real book. Even if the software allows you to annotate and take notes, you won’t get the same feeling as real books! There is something great about having the book in your hand, feeling it, adding notes…Not a single electronic device can replace that!

To improve your homebased business, you need to focus on your strengths. Probably one of the best books I’ve read ever about finding your own inner strengths is Gallup StrengthsFinder 2.0. This book comes with a test that will determines your best overall talents.

For my case, my strengths are:
- Focus
- Restorative
- Futuristic
- Intellection
- Learner
Once I got my strengths, I thought at first : now what ?

You would have heard about this over and over again. Google always shows related ads. But at some point all of us face the problem where the appropriate ads are not shown. When this happens you can both write to Google and tell them about it or you can implement section targeting.
Section targeting allows you to suggest sections of your text and HTML content that you’d like us to emphasize or downplay when matching ads to your site’s content. By providing Google with your suggestions, you ll improve your ad targeting. We recommend that only those familiar with HTML attempt to
implement section targeting.

CTR stands for ‘Click Through Rate’, that is, the percentage of users who click on an ad on a page they are viewing. It is the second most important thing after Traffic. Lets say, you have an average of 100 unique visitors to your website and your CTR to be 10%, i.e. 1 in every 10 user visiting your website would click on an ad. If your average earning per click is $0.5, then assuming that my calculations are right, $5 in a day from those 100 visitors.

These are the strategies I’m using successfully to make some extra money. Hopefully, you’ll be able to spawn other ideas from this list as well.
Keep in mind that StumbleUpon traffic is awesome when you manipulate it correctly. Many office workers are surfing SU while at work, Stay at home Moms/Dads, etc (in other words, more people with money to spend). It’s not anything like MySpace traffic. StumbleUpon now has over 1,000,000.00 users.
