Eric Said : "With regards to promoting affiliate programs (like on CB), I have seen better conversions when using my own sales letters… that were pretty much long squeeze pages that persuade the visitor to opt in. These are not for the IM market but for other niche markets…
Before… I just sent the traffic to the CB sales pages where THEY got the subscribers not me. And, I did not make squat. It was frustrating and it did not work well at all…

How To Get Them To Opt-in
You get them primarily by incorporating opt-in forms WITHIN the sales content. You can position opt-in forms at the beginning, middle, and/or end. It’s often best to use MULTIPLE forms throughout the page. You can also use pop-over windows and such, but you definitely want to use forms within the content.
Split Testing Squeeze Pages (Squeeze or no Squeeze)
I won’t promote an affiliate offer unless I have the option of going directly to the sales page. I do a small test mailing to a segment of my list first, split-testing both versions (squeeze and non-squeeze) and then rolling out the offer with the most profitable option

The Wayback Machine
You can often find a multiyear history of a company’s web site by using this free online service. It will allow you to go back and take a look at how web pages looked, If you find a competitor that is doing really well in a market (or appears to be) you should use The WayBack Machine to see how long they have been selling the product. Or to see how long they have been selling the product at the current price .

How To Name Your Report
When you are providing downloadable reports and guides to your prospects, try working a number into the title.
For example:
7-Step-To-Debt-Freedom.pdf
This will push the file up towards the top of the hierarchy in the directory they save the report. Whenever they browse that directory there’s a good chance that your files will catch their eye and get opened and read again.

I’m now starting a new category : Guru Tips. I’ll post here snippets of information I’ve learned from Gurus. These can be from forums, from personal discussion, from private masterminding. As always, not everyone will make it to this list, only valuable and profound gems. We’ll first start by Willie Crowford. These nuggets are from various interviews he’s done over the Internet.
Use redirect in place of affiliate links
I have around 350 primary domains right now but haven’t built on all of them. Many domains redirect to affiliate programs. That gives me a better looking URL to use in articles and ads. Some people don’t like to click on affiliate links
I also have a lot of domains that are set up to funnel traffic to one target site.
