How I manage My Goals And My Time

I received alot of questions from readers asking about how I manage my time. I’ll therefore offer details of my system in this article. It tooks years to elaborate and I’m still improving it. This could offer you ideas for elaborating your own sucess system :

I use ActionOutline for writing all my goals, I have goals for the year, then goals for each trimester, and then goals for the next 30 days. I can easily move Goals from one tree to another using ActionOutline.

Each time, I got a new idea or a project, I put it in the "Someday" section, then I try to review this section each week to see if it’s time to implement any of these ideas.

For multi-action goals, I transform them into projects. For my projects, I got a folder where I put all of them, I’m seperating them in 5 parts : Current Projects/B Priority Projects/C Priority Projects/On Hole/References. For each project, I have a paper containing the needed actions.

Now, at the beginning of each week, I’ll go through the projects, see what actions are to be done within the week, write them down in my calendar. Then for each executed action, I oblige myself to write down the next needed action at once.

For processing inputinformation, I use the "In" system. I’ll put all the new information in a folder, and then process them one after another.
As you can see, this is inspired from the "Getting Things Done" system.

So how do you organize your life ? Do you have a "system" or the "ToDo" list is more than sufficient for you ?
