How To Get Your Emails Links Clicked
You will be having offers in your email, and a prospect should click on these offers to buy something from you. But what can you do to incite the prospect to click on the links in your email ? Here are 5 suggestions that you can start using right away :
- Check the FROM and change it. You can put the word TEAM for example as if there is a dynamic team behind the letter. Be sure to put a recoignizable name or brand. If the prospect is associating quality with your brand, he will get to read every email you send.
- Lead off the message copy with a killer headline or lead-in sentence. Offer a terific benefit right up front, as if you’re writing a headline for a sales letter
- In the first paragraph, deliver a mini version of your complete message, state the offer, and provide an immediate response mechanism, such as clicking a link. This appeals to short attention span people (like me who never read an entire mail)
- You can put exanded copy after the first paragraph (feature, benefit, proof), this will profit the reader who need more information.
- Repeat the response mechanism near the end of the email
The most important point is to get the important points across quickly in the first paragraphs. And to put the response mechanism at least twice, once near the beginning of the email, and another near the end.
