How to Use Wordpress as a Content Management System

Wordpress is the tool I use to create this website, and as you can see, I’ve converted it from a blog to a real site with a blog. You can use Wordpress as a CMS with these plug-ins :

Customizable Post Listings : Display Recent Posts, Recently Commented Posts, Recently Modified Posts, Random Posts, and other post listings using the post information of your choosing in an easily customizable manner. You can narrow post searches by specifying categories and/or authors, among other things.

Filosofo Home-Page Control : Allows you to put pages on the same permalink level as the blog’s directory and to set which page you want to be the “home” page. Go to Options » Home-Page Control to adjust the settings.

In Series : Provides navigation controls for next/previous within a connected series of posts

List Subpages : Adds a post tag that lists the sub pages of the current page, allowing you to use parent pages in a similar way to categories.

King Categories Widget : Adds a sidebar Categorie widget and lets users configure every Aspect of the Category list.

King_Pages_Widget : Adds a sidebar Pages widget and lets users configure every Aspect of the Pages Navigation list.

King_Text_Widget : Adds a Text widget Options are: in which category or Site Area to show + php/Html output + the html before and after the Widget.

Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
