Before… I just sent the traffic to the CB sales pages where THEY got the subscribers not me. And, I did not make squat. It was frustrating and it did not work well at all…

I received alot of questions from readers asking about how I manage my time. I’ll therefore offer details of my system in this article. It tooks years to elaborate and I’m still improving it. This could offer you ideas for elaborating your own sucess system :

I use ActionOutline for writing all my goals, I have goals for the year, then goals for each trimester, and then goals for the next 30 days. I can easily move Goals from one tree to another using ActionOutline.

1. Think about your 4 of your most important goals
2. Convert those four goals into five-year mid-term objectives
3. Use this five-year list to create a one-year list
4. After you’ve developed yearly goals, you need to break them down into manageable, bite-sized monthly objectives. Let’s say one of your yearly objectives is to get a business started. So you would break that down into 12 monthly goals.
5. Break each of those 12 monthly goals into four weekly goals.
6. Finally, you work your way down to the action you will take each day to fulfill your weekly objectives.

With this formula, you find a nagging problem that people are desperately looking for solutions to. Then you find a great solution. Next, you write articles that explain the problem. You go on to explain why the problem is "severe" enough that the reader really does want to solve it. Then, finally you explain why the product you are marketing is THE perfect solution. In the article you are educating your reader, the reader appreciates you helping them locate a solution, and they act upon your recommendation.

How To Think Like a Prospect

Advertising is multiplied salesmanship. Don’t think like a marketer, think like a prospect. Put yourself into your prospect, read about what he needs, learn it, study it. In other ways : think like a fish, not like a fisherman.

The prospects try to dodge ads, just like you’re doing yourself each and every day. Their biggest obstacle is clutter : hundreds of ads beamed to them daily.

Your goal is to have to find a way to pass the clutter.

So what is salesmanship in essence ? It’s a two-step process :

Authority Links

Start in the google directory to find authority links.

Directory link

For directories link, it’s more a matter of quality. Get Links at Yahoo directory, Business.com, and other quality directories.

Links from friends

These are one-way links that you can get from networking at conferences and social events then following up through msn

Edu and Gov Links

Bait students, teachers and government officials, old sites are more valuable than new sites for links. You can also make a site search +edu to find edu links. Another way is to mine your competitors edu and gov links using Yahoo Site Explorer.

Use redirect in place of affiliate links

I have around 350 primary domains right now but haven’t built on all of them. Many domains redirect to affiliate programs. That gives me a better looking URL to use in articles and ads. Some people don’t like to click on affiliate links I also have a lot of domains that are set up to funnel traffic to one target site.

How To Name Your Report

When you are providing downloadable reports and guides to your prospects, try working a number into the title.

For example:

7-Step-To-Debt-Freedom.pdf

This will push the file up towards the top of the hierarchy in the directory they save the report. Whenever they browse that directory there’s a good chance that your files will catch their eye and get opened and read again.
